verityextratp2

We had so much fun last week subjecting the Verities to twisty questions and dodgy trivia we’re doing it again!

Join Deb, and week one champion Erika, as we put Liz, Kat, and Tansy through their paces with hilarious results. Who will reign supreme?  Who will complain the most about New Who questions? And can Erika hang on to her title of the “The Trivia Lord”?

The download seems to be linked to last week’s podcast.

    • Argh. WordPress’ new “improved” link thing is really getting on my nerves.

It should be fixed now, but then again, I changed it to this week’s link in the first place, and that obviously didn’t stick. Do let me know if you still have trouble.

      • Verity episodes are often showing up on my RSS feed with 10-20 identical download links. This time (before the fix) one of them was for episode 2, the others were all for episode 1. This isn’t a problem for me, I just thought it might be helpful to know.

I agree that all those outside-show questions aren’t really much to do with Doctor Who.

But then, I’d be inclined to have questions like “how many times was John Nathan-Turner promised that he’d be replaced as producer if he just did the management one more little favour” or “what was the personal connection between Michael Grade and Colin Baker at the time of the latter’s firing”. Which wouldn’t get published without major lawsuits.

I’m with Liz. The game needs more Classic questions! 🙂

  4. Strange that the game seems to be slanted heavily towards New Who fans, but then throws in questions about 70s Brit culture (The Liver Birds!) that many New Who fans will be totally unaware of! Silly game.

With all of the “come on now” comments during the first podcast I was quite surprised to see a second round.
