Thank You!! I’ve been thinking that the BBC needed to do this, to help modern Who fans know why these two women were important companions!! I’ve heard some fans complain about RTD doing too much to promote his work, but it’s the BBC’s Marketing Dept. that’s been sleeping!!

    Another great episode.
It did take me a bit, but Tegan Jovanka is one of my favorite companions ever. She’s real in a way that a lot of companions weren’t. Besides the two Mara episodes, I would go with Enlightenment the Five Doctors as her best, character wise.
I’ve made peace with Ace. She’s not a favorite of mine, but the trio of Greatest Show, Ghost Light, and Survival highlight the most interesting aspects of her character.
Even when I disagree with you, I always respect your choices and why you chose days stories. Because they force me to rethink my choices, which is always a good thing.

  3. Hi, I’m really enjoying your show as you’re discussing points of view I wouldn’t have thought about.

In your last show you mentioned The Happiness Patrol. The commentary on The Happiness Patrol is run by Toby Hadoke and I was wondering if you’d noticed that he doesn’t address any questions at all to the women? They only get to say something by interrupting him
