I have all kinds of thoughts on the blu-ray sets, but it sounds like they’re similar to what all of you have. My first thought was Season 6 as well, except another big ’60s set after the Season 2 set might be a bigger expense than a lot of people want to pay. So I would release Season 21 next, just because it has been way too long since we had a Peter Davison season. THEN I would do season 6 next. I’d hold Season 20 to release in the autumn of 2023 as a 60th anniversary special (hey, it will be the fortieth anniversary of “The Five Doctors”).
After all twenty-six seasons are out, I’d then do a set for The Wilderness Years, which would have Paul McGann on the cover and cover not only the TV movie, but everything else that came out in the ’90s and early 2000s, including “Search Out Science” (which should have been on the Season 26 set), “Dimensions in Time”, “Scream of the Shalka”, the Paul McGann version of “Shada”, “The Curse of Fatal Death”, “Death Comes to Time”, and anything else anyone can think of, alongside documentaries about the comics, the novels, the early years of Big Finish, and anything else that kept the show alive for those long sixteen years. After that, I totally agree, give the same treatment to the modern era.
