It’s another Verity! interview! Deb and Erika do a brief intro for Deb’s on-stage interview with Katy Manning from LI Who! Katy is even more delightful in person than Jo is on screen. And that’s saying something. Hear about…

• The time Katy asked Jon Pertwee “What would we do if we didn’t have any arms?”
• Katy’s fashion advice: “If you’re going to wear a mini-skirt, you must get matching knickers.”
• General observations on life: “That’s kind of what life is you know. You’re a mom, you’re making a lampshade, but also you’re writing a really filthy rap song.”
• And this: “I’ve got a collector’s mouth.” (Yes, she explains this, but you’ll have to listen to hear what she means.)

Extra! – The First (Companion) Shall Be Last

We bring our year of companions to a close by returning to the very first one, Susan. (Though apparently that distinction is up for debate, as is anything and everything in Doctor Who!) Join Deb, Erika, and Liz as we talk about Susan’s tenure on the show and her place in the pantheon of companions. Does she reverberate throughout the history of the show? Or is she an outlier? Extra! – Sophie’s So Ace

For this week’s Extra! we had the opportunity to talk to the delightful Sophie Aldred, and we couldn’t make you wait for that–especially because her Kickstarter for Strangeness in Space still has a few days to go. Extra! – Gallyriffic!

Once again, we bring you a Gallifrey One-based Verity! that we recorded while in the same room! Join Deb, Erika, Katrina, and Liz as we giggle over convention fun and revel in the rare experience of recording face-to-face. This year’s Gally saw many of the Verities on stage (interviewing!), on panels (being erudite and awesome!), and wandering the lobby and halls of the LAX Marriott (having a lovely time!).

In addition, Deb has a great interview with director Rachel Talalay, who was a bit of a rockstar at this year’s convention.
